Our Story

From 200,000 farmers to 1,500 rooftops. Same trust, in solar.

r-solar is the next chapter of Farmkart, a rural-India platform that today serves 200,000+ farmers across Central India and was personally recognised by Prime Minister Modi in Mann Ki Baat for its impact on rural livelihoods.

The same team that built Farmkart's village-level distribution network is now installing rooftop solar on the same homes, factories, and institutions. We already knew the streets, the DISCOMs, the language, and the customer.

Solar is harder than people think. Trust is harder still. We started with the trust.

Areas we serve in MP

Active site-visit teams across Barwani, Khargone, Sendhwa, Rajpur, Indore, Pithampur, Dewas, Bhopal, Mandideep, and the broader Narmada Valley industrial belt. Site visits within 48 hours across these districts; up to 5 working days for outlying districts. RESCO pipeline target: 15 to 20 MW by end of 2026, with a 100 MW+ platform ambition long-term.

Strategic Expansion

From Installer to RESCO Developer

With 1,500+ residential installations and 5.5 MW commissioned, r-solar has built the operational backbone to execute at scale. We are now deploying that expertise into the C&I segment as a RESCO, building, owning, and operating solar plants at industrial facilities under long-term Power Purchase Agreements.

Asset Ownership

r-solar finances, builds, and owns solar plants at industrial sites. Off-takers pay per unit consumed: zero capex, zero maintenance.

Open Access Power

We are developing ground-mount Open Access projects in MP's industrial clusters (Nimar belt, Pithampur, Mandideep), targeting factories above 1 MW contracted demand.

Platform Vision
